'''Mining''' gathers ores and smelts metal bars used by crafting professions in Forever.<ref name="guide">[https://www.wowhead.com/forever/guide/professions/mining/overview-leveling Nodge’s written Forever Mining guide; updated 9 October], reviewed 10 October 2026.</ref><br />
<br />
== Getting started ==<br />
The guide lists trainers and an early reward item, Mining for Dummies, for learning Apprentice Mining. It advises carrying a Mining Pick, activating Find Minerals and using a forge for ordinary smelting.<ref name="guide" /> These are written instructions, not a wiki-tested leveling route.<br />

Rock Garden has a sourced learning item, exact recipe inputs and documented output, but its spawn interval and gathering yield remain unverified.<br />
<br />
== Materials and later progression ==<br />
The guide discusses new Pyrite, Bauxite and Pitchblende gathering materials and later bars including Heavy Thorium, Legionite and Azerothium. It leaves their complete distribution and gathering probabilities unresolved.<ref name="guide" /> Later recipes in a source are not proof of current beta obtainability.<br />
