== Coverage ==
The '''16 September 2026''' export from [https://talentsforever.com/ Talents Forever] contains '''470 class talents''' across nine classes and 27 trees, plus '''20 named Legacy perks''' across three trees. Every one has a dedicated page here. Start at [[Talents]] or [[Legacy perks]].

Removed Classic talents, baseline spellbook abilities, racial abilities, and unnamed future-content placeholders are outside this import. A talent page does not establish that its demo values will be unchanged in beta or at release. The export does not identify an exact client build.

== Rank evidence ==
The class talents allow 1,332 rank slots. The export supplies text for 733 ranks and explicitly flags 103 of those as confirmed from footage. Its metadata describes other ranks as estimates, so the remaining 630 supplied descriptions are conservatively labeled unconfirmed / estimated. Two additional explicit estimates are included for Meditation ranks 2 and 3. The remaining 597 rank slots are left undocumented. No interpolation or automatic scaling has been used to fill them.

The Legacy export contains one description per perk and its maximum rank count; it does not give a complete rank-by-rank record. Unless the description specifies a rank, the wiki does not assign one. Source notes about clipped or inferred tooltip wording are retained on the affected pages.

== Naming and relationships ==
Thirteen class talent names are shared by multiple classes. Each variant uses a class-qualified title, with a selection page at the shared name. All 71 recorded prerequisite relationships link to the corresponding talent within the same class and tree. Row and column values are one-based positions from the source.

Legacy pages use the suffix “(Legacy)” so their names remain distinct from ordinary abilities and class talents.

== Attribution and reuse ==
Data adapted and reformatted from '''Talents Forever by Chris Baldwin''', [https://talentsforever.com/data.json data export dated 2026-09-16], under [https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Creative Commons Attribution 4.0]. The wiki reformats the records into articles, indexes, rank tables, and semantic properties. The source's license and attribution apply to the imported material. Game names, icons, and tooltip text belong to Blizzard Entertainment. Neither source authors nor Blizzard endorse this wiki.

The project retains the original export and its SHA-256 checksum so this snapshot can be reproduced. Source links lead to a living website that may have changed since the import date.

== Corrections ==
When improving a talent, cite the exact game build or source and identify the affected rank. Update the article and semantic fields together. If a beta or release value differs, distinguish the versions instead of silently presenting demo data as current. See [[Project:Data policy]] and [[Help:Editing]].

The import process checks existing revisions before publishing. It stops on conflicting edits, allowing contributor changes to be reviewed before a later dataset is applied.
