Template:Item

This template adds a compact reference box and nonempty semantic properties to an article. It places the article in Category:Items.

Copy the blank pattern into a subject page. Leave unknown fields empty. Use plain page names for relationship fields and plain numbers for numeric fields. See Help:Editing and Project:Data policy.

Article structure

After the opening description or documented tooltip, use Acquisition → Uses and effects → Changes → Sources. Keep an effect’s usable location separate from its loot source. Name the actual awarding quest, boss, vendor, or recipe only when the source establishes it.

Changes records dated game announcements, corrections, or observed build changes. The optional reviewed_on date records the wiki’s source review; it is separate from the game version and does not imply in-game testing.

Acquisition fields accept evidence-backed relationships. See Equipment sources for the resulting lists.

• acquisition_source: Named boss, vendor, or other direct source supported by evidence. An NPC associated with a story is not automatically its reward giver.
• reward_from: Exact quest or challenge awarding the item. Leave empty when only the story or NPC association is known.
• obtained_in: Documented acquisition location, such as a dungeon or zone; leave empty for unknown locations.
• acquisition_method: Documented method, such as Quest reward, Dungeon drop, Vendor, or Crafting. Leave empty if unknown.
