This page describes cookies and visitor analytics used by World of Warcraft Forever Wiki at wowfwiki.com. Last updated: 9 October 2026.

Wiki cookies

MediaWiki uses cookies to support login sessions and remember preferences. Blocking or deleting these cookies can sign you out or prevent settings from being remembered.

Visitor analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the wiki. It uses cookies and gathers information such as page visits, referral sources, and device and browser details.

The analytics tag loads on public reading pages. The wiki omits it from login and account pages, editing and history views, user and user-talk pages, and old revision and comparison views.

Google explains its handling of information in its Privacy Policy and information about sites that use Google services.

Private correction and account requests

The request form stores your submitted message, article title, preferred username and optional contact address in a private database queue accessible to wiki administrators. An email address is required when requesting an editor account. Requests do not publish an article, create an account, or send an automatic email.

Records older than 90 days are removed when the queue is next used; administrators can delete records earlier. Backups follow a separate retention process and may retain older copies. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive personal information. Cloudflare Turnstile checks requests for abuse; a session cookie and temporary rate-limit counters protect the form. The submission table does not store your IP address. Google Analytics is excluded from the form and administrator review pages.

Player tools

Dungeon checklist progress is saved in local storage on this browser. Clearing site data removes it. Talent plans are encoded in the share link you choose to copy; anyone with that link can read its selected class, level and talents. Crafting calculations run in your browser.

Your controls

You can manage or remove cookies in your browser settings; see, for example, Google's cookie controls for Chrome. Blocking third-party cookies alone does not necessarily disable Google Analytics, which uses first-party cookies.

Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Follow Google's installation instructions and keep the add-on enabled for it to work.
