Project:Talent data
The current reference uses a licensed community export of Forever beta-client data. Its build and source labels distinguish it from the earlier BlizzCon demo transcription.
Current beta coverage
The 19 September 2026 export from Talents Forever, reviewed here on 20 September, supplies 468 class talents across nine classes and 27 trees, plus 21 named Legacy perks. Every named record has an article. Six additional Legacy slots are unnamed placeholders and have no invented names or effects. Start at Talents or Legacy perks.
The source identifies client build 1.60.1.69876. Its build history reports no talent, spell, or Legacy table changes in subsequent builds 69893 and 69913. That is the source's comparison; this wiki has not independently extracted those clients.
Rank evidence
The export contains all 1,322 class-talent ranks and 69 named Legacy ranks. The source marks these records as beta data. Articles label this Source reports beta-client data, which means the import matches the supplied record, not that a wiki editor has tested each rank in combat. No missing rank has been filled through interpolation.
A client tooltip describes data, not necessarily correct live behavior. Read Beta known issues before interpreting test results. A rank above the current playable level cap can exist in the client without being available for a beta test today.
September 20 source corrections
The new export corrects Resourcefulness to a 30%/60% trigger chance and Lightning Reflexes to 3%/6%/9%/12%/15% Agility. These are corrections between source snapshots, not a claim that a Blizzard hotfix changed those values on that date. The remaining talent and named Legacy records match the earlier beta export. Cultivation also gains an explicit 1-hour cooldown in the racial source.
Spellbooks uses a separate, explicit beta-only selection of spell records and explains its exclusions.
Earlier records
The retained September 16 demo snapshot contained 470 class talents and 20 named Legacy perks. Its rank confirmations referred to footage, with incomplete and estimated descriptions. Those statuses must not be read as beta verification.
The new snapshot replaces Restless Blades with Flawless Execution and Drain Hope with Wrack. Vitality and Balance of Nature are absent from the active beta catalog. These four old pages retain their historical evidence in Category:Historical talents; they do not count toward the active total.
Naming and relationships
Shared talent names use class-qualified titles, with a selection page at the shared name. All 69 active prerequisite links resolve within their class and tree. Row and column positions are one-based. Legacy names use “(Legacy)” to distinguish them from ordinary spells; their articles include supplied allocation gates, prerequisites, and rank text.
Spellbooks, racial abilities, and class-ability summaries are separate fields in the source. Their presence in the same export does not automatically give them the same evidence status as talent records. Older demo summaries and Classic fallback descriptions are not silently promoted to current beta mechanics.
Attribution and reuse
Data adapted and reformatted from Talents Forever by Chris Baldwin, JSON export dated 2026-09-19, under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The wiki reformats records into articles, indexes, rank tables, and semantic properties. Game names, icons, and tooltip text belong to Blizzard Entertainment; the dataset license does not license Blizzard artwork. Neither source authors nor Blizzard endorse this wiki.
The original export is retained with SHA-256 fcb1346dfee8e1d7a51bb0b0e45b1e8b4133cd033d72ddbe92f3c0653072894c. The checksum identifies source bytes, not gameplay accuracy. Source links lead to a living site that may change after this snapshot.
Corrections
Cite the exact client build, source, and affected rank when proposing a change. Preserve the distinction between a tooltip, a known issue, and an observed result. Project:Beta verification provides a compact evidence form; Project:Data policy defines review statuses.
Publication compares existing revisions with the retained baseline and uses revision guards, so a conflicting contributor edit stops replacement for review.
