Titan Relic is Forever item 270866. The tooltip identifies a unique, bind-on-pickup quest-starting item with item level 1 and lists Relic Guardian as its drop source.[1] Item level 1 is not a quest acceptance level.
Quest chains
The written Forever quest report connects the relic to two faction chains:[2]
- Horde: Elder Knowledge → Earthen Echo.
- Alliance: Lost Relic Carry → Prehistoric Prism.
The individually inspected quest records require the relic on both the delivery and follow-up steps. The gear choices belong to the follow-ups; consult those articles before choosing a reward.
October 8 correction
Blizzard says the relic is returned after Elder Knowledge or Lost Relic Carry for their follow-ups.[3] See Beta update (October 8, 2026).
Evidence and limits
The displayed database percentage is not used as a reliable drop rate: the inspected source does not establish the eligible sample or current server conditions. The source-listed acquisition is not a wiki-observed kill.
Earthen Echo and Prehistoric Prism retain earlier player reports about losing or recovering the relic as history. They predate the official correction above. Exact capture build, faction-specific loot eligibility and current repeatability remain unverified.
