Kaivax's later post planned beta closure for 23 October 2026 at 10:00 PDT, after reopening following the stress test.[1] It also supplied local test ending times, supplementing the earlier announcement's unspecified ending:

These belong to the October 21–22 testing schedule, not beta's final closure.[1] The later celebration notice is a separate dated reference.
October 21–22 service follow-ups
At 01:46 UTC on 22 October (21 October PDT), Zorbrix reported a problem restoring beta and recommended fully exiting Battle.net to force its update.[2] This records the staff notice; player replies do not establish a verified restoration time.
Kaivax separately announced a 22 October, 14:00 PDT beta restart, with in-game warnings beginning 15 minutes beforehand.[3] A restart announcement does not establish a new gameplay build or a completed reopening.
October 15–16 announcement
Blizzard moved the public test from 19 to 21 October 2026. No subscription, Game Time, invitation or beta entitlement is required.[4]

In Battle.net, open World of Warcraft's version menu. Under In Development, install World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test. Create a character when available.
Blizzard plans a brief beta interruption and will erase stress-test characters, names and guilds afterward.[4] This article is a dated plan, not a live availability check.
