Reviewed 16 September 2026. Food and campfire changes are announced; this page does not supply tested recipes, leveling totals, or food-buff values.

Cooking gains upgraded campfires; crafted food can provide stat and experience bonuses.[1] The Camping reference lists announced camp capacities.

Record food precisely

For each food, capture its name, recipe source, ingredients, serving quantity, consumption conditions, and full buff tooltip. Record what kind of experience the tooltip names; a bonus to one activity should not be presented as a bonus to all experience.

Keep a food test separate from a campsite test. Record other active effects when comparing results, and save the build number alongside the screenshot. One food's observed value does not establish a universal value for every recipe.

What to learn next

Campfire upgrade recipe names, sources, skill requirements, and material costs remain unrecorded here. A useful first addition would verify one upgrade from learning it through placing it.

The preview perk pages Master Chef and Gourmand are relevant references for later tests. Read their recorded descriptions and evidence notes before attributing an extra result or a longer effect to a particular cause.
