A useful quest guide needs an exact quest title, objective list, and reward record from the same game version. An announcement naming a character or an item establishes a lead; it does not establish the entire quest chain.

Documented reward examples

[1] The item pages preserve the distinction between a quest reward and a creature drop. The exact quest titles and turn-in NPCs are not established in these records.

Beta quest reports

Harmony in Balance and Infestation Investigation include original quest-window references from Zephras Isle. Their pages distinguish the displayed choices and values from unknown eligibility and completion conditions.

Light's Justice and A Frightened Request have dedicated source-checked reports for Ruins of Lordaeron. Their articles cite the published reward choices and the separate player accounts supporting pickup and return locations. Current reward tooltips and quantities still need a build-identified record. These are quest rewards, not a boss drop table.

Check a reward before planning around it

  1. Open the quest’s actual reward screen in your build.
  2. Record every choice and whether any reward is guaranteed.
  3. Capture item names and IDs, the quest title, and the required level if shown.
  4. Note prerequisites and the location of the turn-in NPC only when observed.
  5. Compare the complete tooltip with your current equipment and talent plan; an item name alone cannot establish an upgrade.

What belongs on a quest page

A walkthrough should identify the starting point, each objective, relevant map locations, and the completion step. Until these are sourced, use a contextual article like this one instead of treating a Classic chain as already verified for Forever.

See Quests, Items, and Project:Data policy.

Evidence and limits

The preview reward examples were reviewed on 16 September 2026; beta quest reports were linked on 20 September. Neither section claims a wiki playthrough. The linked quest pages explain which parts are reported and which still lack a build-identified capture.
