Blizzard published the update on 24 September 2026. The notes do not identify a client build number.

Selected changes

• Talent resets return to 1 silver after one hour; repeated resets cost more. This temporary pricing applies only to beta.
• Casting and crafting can continue while waiting for campfire buffs.
• Fixes cover a memory leak, Mac rendering, and mail delivery using surnames.
• Wands no longer gain damage from the wielder's spell damage.

Comparing evidence

Record the installed build, character level, equipment, talent allocation, and test date. A dated announcement and a client export answer different questions: the announcement describes the intended update, while the export records particular data fields. Retain both dates when they differ.

This article does not change the provenance of older database records or licensed spell and talent snapshots. Check each reference's own source and build before comparing its numbers with a live character. The Beta guide retains the separately sourced testing scope.

Later stability notice

On 25 September at 17:59 UTC, Blizzard announced an imminent beta restart intended to address stability problems. This announcement does not establish that every disconnection or crash was resolved, and is not a live server-status indicator.
