Project:Privacy policy

This page describes cookies and visitor analytics used by World of Warcraft Forever Wiki at wowfwiki.com. Last updated: 9 October 2026.

Wiki cookies

MediaWiki uses cookies to support login sessions and remember preferences. Blocking or deleting these cookies can sign you out or prevent settings from being remembered.

Visitor analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the wiki. It uses cookies and gathers information such as page visits, referral sources, and device and browser details.

The analytics tag loads on public reading pages. The wiki omits it from login and account pages, editing and history views, user and user-talk pages, and old revision and comparison views.

Google explains its handling of information in its Privacy Policy and information about sites that use Google services.

Your controls

You can manage or remove cookies in your browser settings; see, for example, Google's cookie controls for Chrome. Blocking third-party cookies alone does not necessarily disable Google Analytics, which uses first-party cookies.

Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Follow Google's installation instructions and keep the add-on enabled for it to work.
