Template:Research tasks

Lists specific unanswered questions on a Forever article and adds it to Project:Research tasks. An empty needs field produces no task. Remove resolved tasks after adding the supporting evidence to the article. This is a research request, not a statement that a mechanic exists.

Use the optional source_conflict parameter only for an explicitly documented unresolved disagreement. Describe the affected value and the competing evidence; cite those sources in the article. Generic missing evidence, an old review date, or the words “needs review” do not establish a conflict. Remove this parameter once the disagreement is resolved. A nonempty conflict keeps the article in the research queue even when needs is empty.

Use Dungeon, Item, Zone, NPC, Quest, Talent, Legacy perk, or Guide for the kind. Separate concise tasks with semicolons. The reference-detail link opens the existing page in its form; the evidence link edits the full article, including this task list. Only record a resolved task after confirming the cited source or reproducing the observation in the named Forever build.
