Encounter identity
The archived Forever client 1.60.1.70291 associates encounter 3310 with City of Dalaran, map 2959.[2] This association does not supply a tested route or a mandatory encounter order.
Preparation
Remove Curse of Thorns; control skeletons and heal through Shadow Bolt Volley.[3] These are written-guide observations, not wiki-tested timings or guaranteed behavior in every beta build.
Independently checked spell records
- Curse of Thorns (1304473): The displayed curse lasts 3 minutes and gives attacks a 50% chance to cause 19–41 self-damage, with a 1-second proc cooldown. Its dispel type is Curse.[4]
- Shadow Bolt Volley (17228): The linked record describes Shadow damage to nearby enemies and flags damage as dependent on caster level. Its raw effect value is not presented as a measured hit.[5]
The links identify the spell records cited by the guide. A tooltip does not establish encounter cast frequency, target-selection rules or all interrupt restrictions.
Summoning preparation
Black Tome and Tome of Dalaran document the reported ritual and its evidence limits. A summoning event is distinct from a timed rare spawn; no respawn timer is supplied.
