Blacksmithing
Blacksmithing works metal into equipment and utility items in World of Warcraft Forever.[1]
Learning and progression
The guide lists the following training ranks. Skill cap, current skill and character level are distinct requirements.[1]
| Rank | Skill cap | Current skill required | Character level required |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice | 75 | — | — |
| Journeyman | 150 | 50 | 10 |
| Expert | 225 | 125 | 20 |
| Artisan | 300 | 200 | 35 |
The guide’s rank reference includes later progression; it does not certify that every rank, recipe or area is available in the current beta. Its trainer list is linked in the citation rather than replaced with a Classic list.
Forever profession benefits
The written Forever guide describes personal belt buckles and Repair All, which repairs the smith’s equipment without cost. Check the particular recipe and ability before planning around these benefits.[1]
Mining supplies ore, bars and stone for many crafts.[1]
Documented campsite recipe
| Step | Reference |
|---|---|
| Learn | Anvil blueprint; Blacksmithing 140 on the learning-item tooltip. |
| Craft | Anvil (recipe); exact ingredients and any tools. |
| Output | Two kits in the displayed spell tooltip. |
| Place | Anvil; Blacksmithing 140 on the finished item, with a nearby campfire. |
The learning item, spell and finished feature were checked separately.[2][3] Follow the blueprint article for its acquisition evidence. A tooltip review does not establish a complete in-game test of learning, crafting or placement.

These linked pages were checked independently from original Forever records. They keep learning, crafting and use requirements separate; acquisition gaps remain visible. Earlier campsite and client references retain their own dates and build labels.
Indexed recipe references
When planning a craft, read its learning source, input quantities, tool requirements and output before gathering materials. The linked client entries retain their own dates; a recipe name alone does not prove availability.
