Cooking
Cooking gains upgraded campfires; crafted food can provide stat and experience bonuses.[1] The Camping reference lists announced camp capacities.
Newly documented recipe
See Twice-Spiced Raptor Slice (recipe) for the inspected spell output, ingredients and learning item. Twice-Spiced Raptor Slice covers the food tooltip; Changing Tastes records the separate quest rewards.
Food and experience
Well Fed XP Boost documents the tooltip's 5% kill-experience bonus and four individually checked foods: Brilliant Smallfish, Peace Tea, Sunny Tea and Briny Seafood Stew. The linked reference separates displayed wording from unresolved technical effect fields.[2]
Check the individual food instead of assuming every recipe has the same effect. Sunny Tea's Healing Power and Briny Seafood Stew's 14 Spell Damage follow their item tooltips; those articles document conflicting entries in the written roundup.
Record food precisely
For each food, capture its name, recipe source, ingredients, serving quantity, consumption conditions, and full buff tooltip. Record what kind of experience the tooltip names; a bonus to one activity should not be presented as a bonus to all experience.
Keep a food test separate from a campsite test. Record other active effects when comparing results, and save the build number alongside the screenshot. One food's observed value does not establish a universal value for every recipe.
Campfire kits and recipes
The three kit articles now separate their use requirements from recipe and Blueprint evidence. Follow each recipe for its material and tool list.
| Kit | Cooking required to use it | Additional features | Crafting reference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Campfire Kit | 1 | 3 | Basic Campfire |
| Journeyman Campfire Kit | 140 | 5 | Journeyman Campfire |
| Expert Campfire Kit | 220 | 10 | Expert Campfire |
These values follow the individual Forever item tooltips, reviewed 1 October.[3]
The Journeyman and Expert Blueprint tooltips instead display Cooking 90 and 200. Those are separate teaching-item fields, not the finished kits' use requirements. The recipe pages preserve this distinction and leave actual learning behavior and Blueprint acquisition unverified. Guide tables that list 90/200 under campfire progression should not be read as proof that the kits can be placed at those skill levels.[4]
What to learn next
Verify the Blueprint source, successful learning, crafting and placement in one recorded beta build. The source records alone do not establish that full sequence.
The preview perk pages Master Chef and Gourmand are relevant references for later tests. Read their recorded descriptions and evidence notes before attributing an extra result or a longer effect to a particular cause.
