Make a useful comparison
- Pick the class and faction first with Race and class combinations.
- Read the race’s general abilities, noting weapon requirements, target types, and interrupted channels.
- Open the class guide and follow its talent reading path.
- Recheck the character-creation screen and spellbook in beta before treating preview values as final.
A racial that helps in one activity may have little use in another. A map of gathering routes, a dungeon comparison, and a player-versus-player comparison need different evidence; this index does not declare a universal best race.
New players and returning players
The Skyborne guide explains faction-dependent choices and the Zephras Isle starting experience. For familiar races, the linked references summarize the current preview rather than importing racial values from Classic. Priest players should also check the distinction between general race abilities and class-specific racial spells.
Evidence and corrections
