Unending Torment
Unending Torment is a five-step quest chain connecting Ruins of Lordaeron with Undercity. Each step has the same displayed name, but a different quest ID. Wowhead's Forever records list the sequence as 97288–97292.[1]
Starting the chain
Neryssa's written dungeon guide identifies this as a Horde chain started by an Abominable Head from The Baron.[2] The head's separate Forever tooltip confirms that it starts a quest and is unique and bound on pickup.[3] Check the head and your quest log before leaving the instance.

Finding the ingredients
The fourth quest names Tawny Grisette in the Trade Quarter for Toxic Skullcap, the area near the Herbalism Trainer for Blisterweed, and a poison vendor in the Rogues' Quarter for Essence of Agony.[6] These are quest instructions; no purchase price, exact coordinates or class restriction is established here.
For the final step, use the serum at the system above the body. The serum's own tooltip supports that target location.[8] Check which quest ID is active if the shared quest name makes progress unclear.
Equipment reward choice
Quest 97290, the third step, offers one of Slain Baron's Signet, Grave Shroud, or Monstrous Cleaver.[5] See those item pages for their separately checked Forever tooltips. The reward choice does not mean the remaining two steps are complete.
Evidence and limits
This guide combines separately read Forever quest records with an attributed written pickup report. It is not a wiki playthrough. Acceptance requirements, experience and money payouts, group-loot behavior and current-build completion bugs remain unverified. Similar names in other editions are not used to fill those gaps.
