Beta data comparison (70338 to 70374) compares two retained English export archives from identified WoW Forever beta clients. The research date is 15 October 2026; it is separate from an announced patch release time.

Build identity and coverage

Blizzard's US, EU, KR and TW manifests identify 1.60.1.70374. The exact configuration names WOW-70374patch1.60.1_ForeverBeta.[1]

The archive contains 611 of 613 advertised tables, totaling 1,931,773 technical rows. CSV response filenames identify the exact build and locale; every saved export was checked for columns, row widths, byte counts and compressed/raw SHA-256 hashes. DeclinedWord and DeclinedWordCases remain unavailable, not empty. Per-table coverage.

Comparison

Both finished archives were re-read against their original catalogue hashes. Exact CSV strings and unique record keys are compared; supporting rows are not counted as distinct playable objects.

Classification Tables
Byte-identical exports 607
Added or removed records 2
Column-definition changes only 2
Unavailable in both builds 2
Changed export Earlier rows Later rows Added Removed Changed shared rows
ManifestInterfaceData 134,289 134,284 1 6 0
ManifestInterfaceItemIcon 25,065 25,078 13 0 0
SpellItemEnchantment 2,216 2,216 0 0 0
SpellVisualMissile 727 727 0 0 0

Across the four changed exports, the verified comparison finds 14 added rows, 6 removed rows and 0 changed shared rows. The two spell-related exports have renamed/replaced columns; no changes are found in their shared value columns. Added and removed column values are excluded from that shared-cell comparison. Export definitions can change independently of the underlying game. Full results, column names and methods.

The item, talent, quest, reagent and skill-line exports retain their previous bytes. This does not prove unchanged server behavior, hotfixes, graphics or executable code.

Written and licensed sources

The original developer and known-issue posts were checked again: their IDs, update timestamps and body hashes match the preceding review. This client identity does not establish a new written gameplay announcement or resolve known issues.

The latest Talents Forever export retains the same Forever identities, effect text, costs, ranks and acquisition fields as the wiki's pinned October 9 snapshot. Twenty publisher annotation/comparison records differ. Those other-edition comparisons are not imported; the existing licensed snapshot and its section-specific builds remain in place. No new video annotation is used.

Reading the data

  • Raw client presence does not establish obtainable loot, a quest handover, teaching availability or final computed stats.
  • Curated recipes use individually inspected Forever originals alongside exact-build ingredient joins. Their tooltip capture build remains separate when unreported.
  • The historical 55,191 database records retain their source builds and frozen package bytes.
  • Encrypted, withheld and server-only content can be absent. See Project:Database coverage and Datamined data.

Earlier research remains in Beta data comparison (70291 to 70338).
