Beta data comparison (70291 to 70338)
Beta data comparison (70291 to 70338) compares two retained English export archives from identified WoW Forever beta clients. The newer sources were checked on 12 October 2026. This date describes wiki research; it is not the announced release time of a game patch.
Build identity
Blizzard's US, EU, KR and TW public manifests identify 1.60.1.70338. The exact build configuration names WOW-70338patch1.60.1_ForeverBeta.[1]
The newer archive contains 611 of 613 advertised tables and 1,931,765 exported technical rows. Each saved CSV was checked for build-specific response filename, columns, row widths and raw/compressed SHA-256 hashes. DeclinedWord and DeclinedWordCases remain unavailable; missing responses are not empty tables. Per-table coverage receipt.
Comparison
Both archives were independently re-read against their retained catalogues and checksums before comparison. Counts describe technical tables and records, which can overlap or contain inherited/unused data.
| Classification | Tables |
|---|---|
| Byte-identical exports | 584 |
| Added/removed rows or changed shared values | 27 |
| Unavailable in both builds | 2 |
The verified shared-key comparison finds 40 added rows, 0 removed rows and 0 changed shared rows. Exact strings are compared without guessing row matches or normalizing numeric fields. Full comparison and methods.

Selected added identifiers
Three newly compared ItemSparse identifiers have individually opened Forever tooltip references:
| Item ID | Name | Acquisition |
|---|---|---|
| 285352 | Tabard of Eternal Exploration | Unverified |
| 285353 | Eternal Explorer's Backpack | Unverified |
| 285354 | Azurky | Unverified |
The added creature record 275487 is named Azurky, and added spell 1318286 is named Summon Azurky. Supporting tables also gain appearance and summon records. These are linked technical records, not 40 distinct new playable objects. The companion description retains a placeholder; no promotional source or eligibility is established.
What this means for the wiki
- An unchanged public export does not establish unchanged server behavior, hotfixes, graphics or executable code.
- New client identity alone does not resolve known issues. Read the dated staff statements for the scope of a reported correction.
- The new dungeon, cooking and class references use individually inspected written sources. Their source capture builds are retained separately from this manifest.
- The latest Talents Forever export was checked again. Game-record fields match the pinned October 9 source; only generated-date metadata and the publisher's site changelog differ. The wiki retains its existing licensed talent/spell snapshot and its section-specific builds. No new video annotation is imported.
- The 55,191 historical database records retain their original provenance and package bytes. Raw presence does not establish obtainable loot, a quest handover or a crafting route.
This collection does not reconstruct encrypted, withheld or server-only data. See Project:Database coverage, Datamined data and the earlier 70245-to-70291 comparison.
