Historical maintenance notice. The announcement and return confirmation below describe October 8, 2026; they are not a live server-status report.

Blizzard announced beta maintenance beginning October 8 at 09:00 PDT (16:00 UTC), covering gameplay updates and internally tested service fixes. Its initial expectation was to reopen by 15:00 PDT (22:00 UTC).[1]

At 21:34 UTC (14:34 PDT), Kaivax confirmed the beta realm had returned and linked the new development notes.[2] That confirmation establishes the reported service return, rather than proving every player's connection problem was resolved.

Read Beta update (October 8, 2026) and the dated known issues for the separate gameplay and testing reports. The maintenance notice does not identify a client build number.
