Template:Talent
Adds a compact talent reference, source note, and semantic data to a class talent page. It places the article in Category:Talents. For the separate Legacy system, use Template:Legacy perk.
This template describes the BlizzCon 2026 demo source snapshot. Its Source checked status records verification against the cited import source, not independent in-game testing. A maximum rank does not imply that every rank's effect has been confirmed. Record rank text and its limitations in the article body.
Use plain class and tree names, plain numbers, a full source URL, and an ISO date. Tree row and column numbers are one-based, counted from the top left. The optional prerequisite is a plain wiki page title without brackets. For an icon, supply the uploaded filename without the File: prefix; the icon links to its file page for source and attribution.

The optional research_needs parameter controls this article’s research requests. When omitted, it asks for the current Forever tooltip and rank-condition evidence. After adding evidence, set it to the remaining semicolon-separated requests. Set research_needs= explicitly empty when all requests are resolved; removing the parameter restores the default requests. Resolving a task does not automatically change the demo snapshot or its evidence status.
The presentation is maintained at Template:Talent/styles.css. For rank tables, use class="wikitable fw-talent-ranks"; an optional fw-talent-table-wrap wrapper accommodates wide tables.
