Underground Map is a Dun Morogh quest, ID 96391, that the Forever quest database places immediately before Old Ironforge Incursion. Its objective is to deliver the Dark Iron Map to Earthseer Farsen in Dun Morogh.[1]
Finding the quest
Wowhead contributors Metaplayer, rezzax and privetkakdela describe an item-started quest; the latter two identify Dark Iron Spies as a map source.[2]
Reports on the dungeon page place Farsen above Gol'Bolar Quarry. They disagree about the preceding spy quest and whether the map comes specifically from a captain.[3] Check the item tooltip and Farsen's available quests. No guaranteed drop rate, captain-only rule or complete prerequisite chain is established here.
Turn-in and next step
Deliver the map to Farsen, then look for Old Ironforge Incursion before organizing a Hall of Thanes run. The written record lists 100 Ironforge and 100 Gnomeregan Exiles reputation for the map quest.[1] A dungeon-quest chain does not itself prove an entrance restriction.
