A useful quest guide needs an exact quest title, objective list, and reward record from the same game version. An announcement naming a character or an item establishes a lead; it does not establish the entire quest chain.
Further references checked 29 October
Spidersilk Sack and Transformative Cocoon connect their separate item references to documented quest rewards. Unknown equip requirements remain blank.
Further references checked 25 October
Frosthowl's Footwarmers and Repurposed Hair Band link back to their documented quest sources. Item levels and equip requirements remain separate fields.
Further reward reference: 23 October
The new quest reference connects an off-hand and a ring to their documented reward source. Their item levels remain separate from unknown equip requirements.
October 12 quest and recipe connections
The New Plague, Bloodied Insignia and Remember That I Love You document exact reward item identities. Restocking the Larders and Crab Season list teaching items and prepared food separately. These articles keep quest reward counts, crafted serving quantities and objective items distinct.
Documented reward examples
| Item | Announced context |
|---|---|
| Ladimore Heirloom Ring | Mor'ladim / Duskwood |
| Master Hunter's Spellsword | Hemet Nesingwary / Stranglethorn |
[1] The item pages preserve the distinction between a quest reward and a creature drop. The exact quest titles and turn-in NPCs are not established in these records.
Beta quest reports
Harmony in Balance and Infestation Investigation include original quest-window references from Zephras Isle. Their pages distinguish the displayed choices and values from unknown eligibility and completion conditions.
Light's Justice and A Frightened Request have dedicated source-checked reports for Ruins of Lordaeron. Their articles cite the published reward choices and the separate player accounts supporting pickup and return locations. The linked pages now include individually checked original reward tooltips; their exact capture builds and unlisted reward quantities remain unknown. These are quest rewards, not a boss drop table.
October 10 original reward records
- Dalaran quests link objectives, NPC references and individually checked reward items. Conflicting access recipients remain visible in the quest articles.
- A Frightened Request links Tabitha Heartweaver to the originally listed choice between Edward's Knife and Tabitha's Cuffs.
- Skyborne starting guide joins recorded starting quest segments and departure chains, including linked reward records. It identifies the unverified gaps in the full route.
- Leveling equipment distinguishes recorded item levels from equip requirements and groups equipment by broad bonuses.
Check a reward before planning around it
- Open the quest’s actual reward screen in your build.
- Record every choice and whether any reward is guaranteed.
- Capture item names and IDs, the quest title, and the required level if shown.
- Note prerequisites and the location of the turn-in NPC only when observed.
- Compare the complete tooltip with your current equipment and talent plan; an item name alone cannot establish an upgrade.
What belongs on a quest page
A walkthrough should identify the starting point, each objective, relevant map locations, and the completion step. Until these are sourced, use a contextual article like this one instead of treating a Classic chain as already verified for Forever.
See Quests, Items, and Project:Data policy.
Evidence and limits
The preview reward examples were reviewed on 16 September 2026; beta quest reports were linked on 20 September. Neither section claims a wiki playthrough. The linked quest pages explain which parts are reported and which still lack a build-identified capture.
