Beta reference · reviewed 19 September 2026. Racial descriptions use the community export for Forever beta build 1.60.1.69876. Its source notes identify beta-client extraction; this wiki has not independently tested racial effects or every character-creation combination.

Race and class combinations collects the roster retained in the pinned beta export and marks combinations explicitly named by Blizzard. It does not fill gaps by copying Classic’s character-creation rules.

How to read the matrix

• A: explicitly announced by Blizzard.
• P: present in the 18 September community export, continuing its earlier preview roster; not independently checked here at character creation. The beta racial-data provenance does not by itself verify every playable combination.
• ?: not listed in this snapshot. This is not proof that the combination will be unavailable at launch.

Blizzard names Gnome Priest, Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Orc Mage, Troll Warlock, and Undead Paladin as additions. Skyborne share Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, and Druid; Alliance adds Mage and Horde adds Shaman.

What the matrix does not establish

A listed combination does not establish its starting route, racial spell ranks, trainer locations, or performance. The source contains faction-specific Skyborne variants; it should not be reduced to one faction-neutral class list. For a beta correction, capture the character-creation options together with the build and faction.
