Beta data comparison (70245 to 70291) compares retained English exports for two identified WoW Forever beta builds. The newer archive was retrieved on 9 October 2026; the earlier archive was saved on 8 October. Counts below describe technical records and export definitions.

Build and archive identity

Blizzard’s public manifest identifies 1.60.1.70291 in US, EU, KR and TW. Its build configuration explicitly names WOW-70291patch1.60.1_ForeverBeta.

The new archive contains 611 of 613 advertised tables and 1,931,725 exported rows. Both saved archives were independently re-read against their hashes and original build-specific catalogues before comparison. Unavailable exports remain unavailable; another build is never substituted. Coverage and per-table receipts.

Across tables with a verified shared unique row key, the comparison finds 4,965 added rows, 321 removed rows and 2,283 changed shared rows. These totals overlap supporting tables and do not count distinct items, quests or abilities. Unavailable exports and unresolved identities are excluded from those totals. Interpretation

• A quest ID does not supply objectives, rewards or a witnessed quest-giver handover.
• Item fields do not automatically calculate final armor, weapon damage or tooltip bonuses.
• SkillLineAbility includes class and other skills; its changes are not counts of new crafting recipes.
• Talent effects can also depend on spell tables and server hotfixes. An unchanged Talent export does not establish unchanged gameplay.
• Schema changes can reflect improved export definitions. Exact strings are compared without guessed row matching or numeric normalization.
• This research does not recover encrypted, withheld or server-only information.
