Installing Forever

Install the client

Update your operating system and graphics drivers; check System requirements.
Install the Battle.net desktop application for Windows or Mac and sign in.
Select WoW: Forever, then choose WoW: Forever under Game Version.
If several WoW accounts appear, select the intended active account in the second dropdown.
Choose Install, wait for completion, then Play.^[1]

An active WoW subscription or game time is required.^[1] Check Launch schedule for the announced opening; installing does not establish that play is available now.

If you cannot sign in

Use Blizzard Support's account-recovery options for a forgotten password, locked account, authenticator trouble or inaccessible email. If self-service fails, contact Support. After recovery, check the account's region, license and security settings.^[1]
