World of Warcraft: Forever
World of Warcraft: Forever is an announced permanent WoW game alongside modern WoW and WoW Classic. Its setting follows Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and precedes Molten Core, with a level-60 journey through the original continents.[1]
Release status
Blizzard's access announcement lists launch on 4 November 2026 and beta beginning 17 September 2026.[2] See the Beginner guide for the beta window and access requirements.
What kind of experience is planned?
Blizzard describes a focus on leveling, exploration, and cooperation. Announced choices include no flying mounts or level scaling, optional transmog, Classic and modern visual presets, and gamepad support.[3]
